The Couples for Kids Program serves boys aged 5 - 16 who have limited contact with positive adult role models. They are matched with a stable adult couple who volunteer together and commit to spending 2 - 4 hours a week for a minimum of one year with their Little Brother. Their role is to provide friendship, guidance and support.

"When I'm with them I laugh and we have a lot of fun together. I love their dog. We have so much fun going to the park and I'm happy to be with them."

Eligibility

Any boy between the ages of 5 and 16 who could benefit from having a positive and stable couple as role models in their life will be considered. If there is regular contact with the boy's father, a close male relative, a partner or someone from another agency, the program may not be appropriate.

To make the relationship work, it is important that your child is interested in having a Big Brother and that you be willing to co-operate with the agency and its guidelines.
